[ARCHIVED] Halloween events happening in the community

WEB_Halloween_Oct 30 2020

Like most other events this year, enjoying Halloween and all its festivities during a pandemic will be a little different. The CDC recommends people enjoy Halloween while taking steps to protect themselves and others from COVID-19. If trick or treating, people should avoid direct contact with others, wash hands before handling treats and wear a mask. A costume mask should not be used as a substitute for a cloth mask. Consider participating in other Halloween activities including decorating or carving pumpkins, visiting a pumpkin patch, holding a “treat hunt” in your home for the kids or hosting an outdoor costume parade. The CDC offers more tips on their website for enjoying Halloween while also taking step to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
