An overnight curfew for Daytona Beach residents has been established in an effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus. The nightly curfew is in effect from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Thursday, April 2, and will in place through 5 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, unless terminated or extended by city officials. There are some specific exceptions to the curfew including travel to and from work, medical emergencies and food delivery services. Restaurants offering drive-thru, delivery and take-out services are still able to remain open.
