The Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament is set for Friday, Nov. 6, with proceeds to benefit the Halifax Health Foundation and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program. This will be the 41st year that Daytona Beach’s mayor has hosted a charity golf tournament at the city-owned Daytona Beach Golf Club on Wilder Blvd.
Benefitting from proceeds of the tournament are the Halifax Health Foundation, which is committed to providing education, as well as purchasing new, life-saving technology, as well as Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program, which is a national initiative that provides age-appropriate books at no cost to registered children from birth to their fifth birthday. All children living in the 32114 zip code are eligible for the program and can receive a free book each month. To sign up, complete this form. For more information on the golf tournament, to register or become a sponsor, please call Brian Jaquet, director of the Golf Club, at (386) 671-3502.
