[ARCHIVED] Officers Win Award For Rescuing Kittens

PETA Daytona Beach Police Department Award - Hurricane Dorian kittens rescued by Bissa and Gibbins

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has given our police department an award for the work done by Officers James Bissa and Russell Gibbins in rescuing two kittens during Hurricane Dorian.

The officers will also receive a batch of vegan cookies from PETA as a "thank you" for their work in this incident.
