Shelters

There are no open shelters at this time. There is still a lot of uncertainty with the track of this storm and its impact. Residents should continue to monitor the news media and online for update. For shelter information online, please refer to the county's information website

Evacuations

There have not been any evacuations ordered at this time. There is still a lot of uncertainty with the track of this storm and its impact. Residents should continue to monitor the news media and online for update. For evacuation information online, please refer to the county's information website

If evacuations are issued, the city of Daytona Beach does not issue passes for re-entry to the beachside. Typically what happens is people will show their driver’s license or other form of photo ID that shows they live in the area they are trying to access. Officials and public safety also work with people who are trying to get to work, and encourage people to have ID or something from their workplace which verifies their place of employment.
