Join us at Daytona Beach Police Department headquarters Monday night (August 12) as we hold a prayer vigil for the victims of mass shooting events.
This event is inspired in part by recent mass shootings in Dayton (OH) and El Paso (TX), but it is not specific to those tragedies.
DBPD Chaplain Monzell Ford will run the vigil inside the Second Floor Community Room at DBPD headquarters.
“This will be a short and powerful service,” Ford added.
Among those expected in attendance include Daytona Beach Mayor Derrick Henry, other members of the Daytona Beach City Commission and local community and spiritual leaders.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend the service.
For additional questions or more information, please contact Chaplain Ford via email or 386-671-5204.
