The City of Daytona Beach is an Entitlement Community and recipient of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership Grant (HOME) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on a yearly basis. These grant funds support programs that principally benefit low to moderate-income households and areas in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Annual Action Plan is a document of programs and activities anticipated to take place during the program year. A draft summary is available for citizens, public agencies and other interested parties to review and submit comments.
A 30-day comment period is underway where the public is encouraged to view the Annual Action Plan (PDF) on the city’s website or in-person at City Hall, 301 S. Ridgewood Ave., Daytona Beach, Florida. The comment period began on July 2, 2023 and extends through Aug. 2, 2023 at the close of business. Written comments can be sent to communitydevelopment@codb.us.
A public meeting will be July 10, 2023 at 4 p.m. in room 149B at City Hall for people wanting to provide comments. There is also a virtual meeting option for participation. If interested, please contact carrymandana@codb.us. The final plan will be presented to the City Commission on Aug. 2, 2023.
