Residents can safely dispose unwanted, unused or expired prescription drugs between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, April 22, in the lobby of the Daytona Beach Police Department’s headquarters, 129 Valor Blvd. The drop-off is part of National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, which is organized by the Drug Enforcement Agency. The service is free of charge with no questions asked. Liquids, syringes or other sharps are not accepted.
