The City of Daytona Beach's Park and Recreation Department is hiring seasonal lifeguards and staff to work in our many programs including summer camps (casual workers). Starting at $13 an hour, casual workers will have the opportunity to serve as an advisor, coach, assistant and instructor for recreational activities. Water Safety Instructor-certified lifeguards start at $15 and lifeguard certified start at $13 and will be responsible for monitoring activities in and near water, enforcing facility rules and regulations and administering first aid and CPR. The city's Gymnastics program is looking for qualified coaches to help supervise and conduct workouts with pay starting at $13 an hour.
