The City of Daytona Beach values the ideas and input of its residents. To gather feedback in a public forum, there will be Citizens Roundtable at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, at the Yvonne Scarlett-Golden Cultural and Educational Center, 1000 Vine St. The Citizens Roundtable is the first phase of the strategic planning and goal-setting process for the upcoming year. This is community members’ chance to directly impact decisions affecting programs, services and other aspects of civic life. Discussion topics will focus on Public Safety, Infrastructure, Growth Management, Economic Prosperity, Quality of Life and Parks and Recreation. Results from the Citizens Roundtable will be forwarded to the City Commission for their upcoming Strategic Planning session.
