The public is invited to a celebration of the Veterans Museum and Education Center, which is opening in its new location at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 4, at 302 Vermont Ave. in Daytona Beach. Attendees will be able to learn about and view items dating back to the Spanish-American War. The renovated facility is filled with historical and educational pieces, which tell the story and honor our U.S. Armed Forces.
Parking is available across the street from the Center, which is on the corner of Peninsula Drive and Vermont Avenue. For more information, call (386) 256-7909 or visit www.VMAEC.org.
