There is a meeting Wednesday, March 30, at the Volusia County Beach Safety Headquarters, 515 S. Atlantic Ave. in Daytona Beach for residents to learn about the Florida Department of Transportation’s project to improve International Speedway Boulevard (U.S. 92) from the Halifax River Bridge to State Road A1A. The project intends to enhance pedestrian safety and improve traffic operations along the busy thoroughfare. After a public hearing in Oct. 202, FDOT revised the plans to address community concerns and the revised will be presented at the March 30 meeting.
To accommodate the public, FDOT is offering multiple ways to learn about the project and provide feedback:

Atlantic Ave. in Daytona Beach any time between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 30 to view a looping presentation and project displays, speak with project team members and submit comments or questions.
