There is a meeting Wednesday, Jan. 19, at the Midtown Cultural and Educational Center for residents to learn about the Florida Department of Transportation’s project to improve Mason Avenue from Clyde Morris Boulevard to N. Beach Street. The project will analyze the corridor and evaluate possible improvements to Mason Avenue by enhancing multimodal safety, operations and connectivity for all modes of travel on the busy thoroughfare.
To accommodate the public, FDOT is offering multiple ways to learn about the project and provide feedback:
- In-Person Open House Option: People can stop by the Midtown Cultural and Educational Center any time between 5:30 and 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, to view a looping presentation and project displays, speak with project team members and submit comments or questions.
- Virtual Option: People may attend the public meeting virtually. Advance registration is required. People can register at https://bit.ly/SR430PlanningStudy.
- Phone Option: Participants may join the meeting in listen-only mode by dialing (877) 309-2071 and entering the passcode 814-151-454 when prompted.
