A break in a 16-inch water pipe on Monday morning caused some Daytona Beach water customers to temporarily have low water pressure. The number of affected customers has not been determined. Utility crews are on scene and have isolated the break. Repairs to the pipe are underway and the city’s water system is back to normal pressure. In the meantime and as a precaution, water customers are advised to boil all water used for human consumption or used bottled water.
