Homicide Investigation 1259 9th St.

The Daytona Beach Police Department (DBPD) is conducting a murder investigation after a man was found dead in the hallway of an apartment complex this morning (July 09, 2021).

A 911 call placed just after midnight, directed officers to an Apartment located at 1259 9th Street. Upon arrival, first responders found the victim – Adolphus Butler, DOB 6-02-03, black male, deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. (NOK has been notified) 

There is no suspect information for release right now. Once we can, we will share it on our social media.
