We’ve been told it’s bad luck to have a boat and not name it.
So… we would like your help to name our new patrol boat.
The person with the winning entry can bring a friend along for a free ride on the Halifax River in the patrol boat with our Marine Unit.
RULES:
1) To enter, just type your suggestion in the comments section of our Facebook post.
2) You have a week from the date and time of this post to give us your ideas.
3) Once the deadline passes, a small committee of city employees will go through all the names and select five finalists. (Feel free to weigh in before then by liking any of the suggestions you see in the comments section.)
4) We’ll then create a poll on social media with those five names for all of you to vote on.
5) The winner of the poll is the new name of the patrol boat.
