To honor and support our local veteran community, there will be a parade featuring combat veterans, as well as military organizations, beginning at 10 a.m. Sunday, July 4, on Main Street. The Star Spangled Summer Tribute Concert Series at the Daytona Beach Oceanfront Bandshell will also host a special fireworks’ display and concert featuring Alter Eagles, an Eagles tribute band, starting at 7:15 p.m. Tickets for the concerts are available at www.friendsofthebandshell.org. The Star Spangled Summer Tribute Concert Series is sponsored by the Boardwalk Merchants and the Friends of the Bandshell.
