Battalion Chief Position
Under direction of the Fire Chief and/or Deputy Fire Chief, is responsible for directing major functions of the Fire Department as a Battalion Commander. Position performs highly responsible supervision and administrative work concerning, but not limited to, personnel, vehicle and equipment maintenance, emergency responses, records and reporting duties, administration of medical treatment, and operational budgets. Position is responsible for providing daily non-emergency supervision, and emergency scene management as needed, such as in response to major emergencies.
