BEGINNING JUNE 5, 2023, THE CITY OF DAYTONA BEACH WILL BEGIN USING A NEW PLATFORM, INTUITIVE MUNICIPAL SERVICES (IMS) FOR ONLINE PERMIT AND LICENSE SERVICES. CONTRACTORS WITH EXISTING ACCOUNTS WILL BE ABLE TO ASSOCIATE THEIR ACCOUNTS WITH THE NEW PLATFORM ONCE IT'S LIVE. Mission
The mission of the Planning Division is to assist the city in maintaining its comprehensive plan and land development regulations in a manner that responds to community values.
Duties
The Planning Division provides advice on planning and land development issues facing the city. This includes assistance in the formulation and administration of plans, regulations, programs and budgets for capital projects. Affordable Housing
Upon submission of applicable building permits or development orders, notify City Permits & Licensing and/or Planning staff that you are requesting expedited processing and state the statutory basis entitlement for such expedited processing. Upon review, staff will give higher priority in the processing of building permit and development orders that qualify under the Live Local Act.
