According to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), in lieu of a second public meeting regarding proposed improvements along Oakridge Boulevard from Halifax Avenue to N. Atlantic Avenue, FDOT has compiled an update to inform the community of current developments in the design plans and project schedule. The status of the private developer’s permit for a driveway at the parking garage at the northwest corner of Oakridge Boulevard and N. Atlantic Avenue is still under review and is separate from FDOT’s planned improvements. Design on the improvement project is proceeding on schedule and is expected to be complete this summer. Construction is anticipated to start in early 2021. Members of the public who want to provide project feedback, can submit a comment to FDOT online at https://bit.ly/2SVWSrq.
