Website streaming and archiving of public meetings has been suspended

The City of Daytona Beach is committed to making its website’s content accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. Our goal is to provide online content and services that conform with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act as amended by Congress in 1998 and revised in 2017. We have been advised that our current practice of streaming live public meetings and archiving video content does not comply with ADA standards due to the lack of closed captioning.

As a result of current litigation and while we are working to be in compliance, online streaming of meetings will be suspended and archived videos will be removed from the city’s website, www.codb.us. We hope to resolve this issue as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

Live public meetings of the City Commission, Planning Board, Economic Development Board, Redevelopment Boards, Code Enforcement Board and Special Magistrate will still be broadcast live on DBTV, the city’s government access channel, which is channel 490 on Spectrum Cable.

If you need assistance or would like to request a copy of a video, please call the City Clerk’s Office at (386) 671-8023 or submit this online form
