Public Education

The Daytona Beach Fire Department is committed to the safety and education of the community it serves. Our goal is to provide every citizen within our city the highest level of safety awareness training available. The department can best accomplish this through fire safety education.

For more information about arranging our education program, contact our administration office at (386) 671-4000.

Safety Information

The department can provide information and literature on many topics of fire safety, from home fire safety to work place fire safety.

Fire Station Tours

Groups of up to 35 visitors may schedule tours to any Fire Station in Daytona Beach two weeks in advance. Do not call the fire station to schedule a tour. Call Sasha Staton- Community Relations/Emergency Preparedness Specialist or complete the Fire Station Tour Request form.

We currently can provide a number of fire safety education programs for you. The programs can be for large groups or small groups of all ages, at your location or at one of the fire stations, at times convenient for you or your group. Learn more about our Senior Services.

Toy / Food Drives

Daytona Beach Fire Stations are often used as collection sites for toys, food or used bicycle drives throughout the year. This is coordinated with radio stations, non-profit agencies and church organizations. The Daytona Beach Fire Department does not determine who will receive the donated items, but rather allows the agencies to choose the recipients through their screening process. The drives are promoted through radio, television and newspaper public service announcements.
